Rear Turn Signal Problems (Stary on solid)
I'm trying to replace the rear bullet turn signals that the previous owner removed when installing bags. When I connect them to the pins in the integrated LED/Stop&Turn signal on the fender, they come on like running lights with the ignition. Hitting the turn signal switch does nothing. Front turn signals work fine i.e, they stay on as runners, and flash using the second element in the bulb when blinking. Since the rears are yellow, I jsut need to use the primar element lead (purple) and black ground. The power to that circuit should go on and off but it does not. Checked it at the connector posts in the fender mounted signal housing and it's a constant 11.83 volts with ignition on and engine not running.
Any ideas?

Go to the Harley site and look up the installation instructions for turn signal relocation. That will show you how to connect the wires. This is one set for example. http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...ts/-J03107.pdf

Thanks Jim. I finally figured out that the fancy LED integrated stop/turn signal has a couple of different modes that are found on toggle switches under the seat. One mode turns the old turn signal cuircuit into a running light circuit. I flipped the switch and we're good to go!
