Default Rear turn signal help

I put my Christmas presents on the Street Bob yesterday (pics will follow). One of them was the layback license kit with turn signal relocation. When I finished they functioned normally, this morning as I was leaving for a ride I checked the turn signal and my right signal would not stop flashing. I had to turn the ignition switch off. Now no turn signals at all. All the connections look good and no blown fuses, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Turn signals were relocated to a bar mounted through the license plate frame. Also, have noticed by messing with it that although the tailight is lit, it does not increase in brightness when the brakes are applied. It might also be significant that the front signals are not flashing either.[>:]

Did you dissconnect the battery when you did the signals and cut the wires?

Ok possibly a short? Wire cut in the tube or inside one of the signals.

Possibly you have the polarity wrong when you put the quick dissconnect plugs back together?? not sure if this would mess the system up depends what all is linked together and if your feeding pos to neg etc.

My guess would be one of the two mentioned above.

buck, have you done anything at all with lighting at the front??

Also, With the tailite lit,

is it the -tail filament(dimmer)

or, the -brake filament(brighter)

that is constantly on??

The tail filament is the one which is lit.
The only thing I did up front was change the handgrips. HMM...Possibly a pinched wire in the switch housing? Front signals are constantly lit (dim) no flashy.

hmmmnh...

mighta broke the front brake lite switch, but,

if you're sure it is the taillite on constant,
that doesn't make sense.

Short somewhere is my guess...

Need to work backwards on your changes.
