06 dyna custom running problems
Ok i have a custom that i built almost 3 years ago and Every since the inital fire up it has been missing out and sputtering. I bought a wrecked 06 dyna wide glide and bought a aftermarket frame. I have changed it to a crank sensor also have changed the pipes out. it had straight pipes and we changed it to dual with the rear pipe crossover. it has a screamin eagle ait filter i just bought a dyno jet programmer with o2 eliminators and installed it and changed the maps around. seemed to have little effect on the way the bike runs. I even changed the timing to the rear cylinder with little effect. the bike runs like a dream when you accelerate. when idleing it does good for a second then starts missing and fluxuates untill it dies. while riding the bike still continues to miss and crack n pop unless your accelerating. i have been all over this bike tring to figure it out changing sensors and parts. if anyone can give any tips please do! I have downloaded maps for the dynojet and tryed them but still nothing. this has been going on for over two years i would just like to get if fixed.

The 2006 bikes need the 25° injectors...then you need to get the ECM re-flashed for that.
Mine ran great for several years with the 8° injectors, but then they just started giving me problems like yours.

Note the part number printed, in white, on it's side. The 8's are pn 27625-06 and the 25's are pn 27709-06A.
