FXDX shock swap with a FXD...

I recently got a killer deal on a set of rear shocks off a fxdx. I have a 07 fxd, and was wondering how hard would it be to swap them out? Anyone on here done this swap before? Any recomondations? Looks pretty simple, but before i dig into it, i wanted to see if anyone came into any problems in doing this? Thanks!!

I believe it is just a different top shock bolt. No spacer on DX and the bolt is shorter. I like mine a lot, but I push the limit of them at my size. 6'3" and 275 lbs. When I have the wife on the back, they are maxed out and then some. Can bottom out on a real bad bump. Most of the time they are fine though.

I just put Dx shocks on my streetbob like a months ago. Great setup huge improvement over shock shocks. I used the sock bolts and some washers as spacers took like 10 min

You can get the part numbers here if you add the parts to your cart and go into the cart for the bolts. This si the front forks but just click on shock absorbers on the lower left of the screen.
