I perhaps wouldn't get hung up on the tuning here. Those jets are fine and won't cause what sounds more like a fault than a tuning issue.

It actually sounds an awful lot like the problems you get when the crank position sensor starts to go bad. But it could be a couple of things, from a bad spark plug to **** in the float bowl.

So, the Crank Position sensor wouls bring on the same stumbling and carb farts?

I've seen similar problems on a Sportster cause this when the engine is hot.

Well, I am going to bump up to a 48, and leave the 195 in there. I am buying some new intake seals tomorrow, and I will see if that does the trick. If not, I guess I will be buying a new CPS....sounds expensive....

go to the xlforums and see what a crank sensor causes the bike to run like , your bike is doing what mine did after i installed forcewinder but before i changed jets . crank sensor makes them run like crap all thru rpm range not just at idle but this is just my own experience

last one i bought was 50 bucks , think they reatail for under 80 bucks . where are you in tx ?

im 60 miles east of abilene on i20 , i have the jets and intake gaskets and a table lift if your close and need help
