Default R U thinking about a Switchback?

First I want to say I appreciate all the info I've found on here. With all the debate about vibration, and complaints about it running hot do to the cat (I'm one of them) I'm impressed that no one dislikes the bike. Some even saying it's the best bike they've ever owned.
I would just like to say, if you're considering one of these, IMO, it's a great value. I traded in my Heritage and I have no regrets. It gives me the best of both worlds, street bike and touring. It's a blast to ride, quick and nimble. I'm only 5'6" so it's fits me perfectly.
Trust me, it will turn some heads and invoke questions.
Unfortunetly I don't have the money right now for mods but it looks and rides great as-is so I can wait.

There's allot of inexpensive or free customization you can do. There's even a thread that says "under $50", or leave it stock if you want.

For instance, turn your mirrors around with the wide side out and you'll have better side view of cars. Looks fine and better visibility.

Moving the turn signals only costs a few bucks and there are plenty of tips here how to do it.

I'd recommend saving up for a stage 1 mod, either do it yourself or get it done. Bike runs cooler and unleashes more power.

Enjoy!
(check your VIN for the regulator replacement too)

Almost pulled the trigger on a vivid black one last week. Just not yet read to give up the SB...

No, but I would consider a Street Glide.

count me as a lover of this bike, ran it naked back to the dealer for some warranty work yesterday and some of the looks it got in traffic were of bewilderment

I'd be bewildered if I saw a naked guy riding any bike down the street! Love mine, no excessive vibes, 8k+.

You should have been locked up for being at the dealer naked.

I don't like it at all.....ugly, ugly ugly....at least I try to keep telling myself that....feel like I'm cheating on my bike when I drool over the switchback......cause I bought my FXDC and then I seen the FLD about a month later....guess I should have waited a little longer.......ya talk about upset...lol....I agree with a lot of others and think this is one sick bike. Great looking bike stripped down and bagged out. Just my opinion.
