First I want to say I appreciate all the info I've found on here. With all the debate about vibration, and complaints about it running hot do to the cat (I'm one of them) I'm impressed that no one dislikes the bike. Some even saying it's the best bike they've ever owned.
I would just like to say, if you're considering one of these, IMO, it's a great value. I traded in my Heritage and I have no regrets. It gives me the best of both worlds, street bike and touring. It's a blast to ride, quick and nimble. I'm only 5'6" so it's fits me perfectly.
Trust me, it will turn some heads and invoke questions.
Unfortunetly I don't have the money right now for mods but it looks and rides great as-is so I can wait.
count me as a lover of this bike, ran it naked back to the dealer for some warranty work yesterday and some of the looks it got in traffic were of bewilderment
I don't like it at all.....ugly, ugly ugly....at least I try to keep telling myself that....feel like I'm cheating on my bike when I drool over the switchback......cause I bought my FXDC and then I seen the FLD about a month later....guess I should have waited a little longer.......ya talk about upset...lol....I agree with a lot of others and think this is one sick bike. Great looking bike stripped down and bagged out. Just my opinion.
