I bought my new switchback in December 2011. I have 4K on it now.
Have not had any problems with vibration, or overheating. I ride it nearly every day to work and back. That is about 40 miles one way. 20 Highway and about 20 city traffic. No overheating on any of the 100 degree days here in Texas and it
Rides rock solid on the highway. Quick and nimble in the city traffic too.
I have not made any mods yet but will be.

Does anybody know the reasoning behind the unusual tire sizes on these bikes? There are not many wheel options that I can find and to me those wheels that come on it are just not that great looking. If I bought one, that's the ONLY thing I would change.

Couldn't decide between the wide glide or the FLD, but the 60+ plus mile commute to work and the versatility to go play on the weekends did it for me. I haven't riden in 9+ years and they were all metrics. Right from the dealer 48mi. away city and hwy to get home. She is smooth and agile, I almost slept in the garage with her. Now the customization begins, (too quiet).
