Default open air cleaner

i have a joker machine air cleaner that has an open filter. i noticed in the rain that the bike tends to bog down. i saw on their website they have a sock for the filter which i ordered. going on a ride this weekend, looks like rain. anyone have a recommendation or suggestion for a temp/cheap rain sock to keep most of the water out but let air still in?

thinking a bandana or t-shirt sleeve maybe?

I have an open filter (Arlen Ness big sucker with Joker Machine insert) and the only time it was a problem was after riding over an hour in a unexpected, insane thunderstorm that was flooding the roads.
I probably should pick up a rain sock for such unexpected times. From what I remember, the Harley one is just a cheap/expensive as the others I've seen.

$26.00

Same here as post above, I run an open filter and it takes serious rain to effect my engine operation. I do keep my K&N filter well oiled also, not sure if that might make a difference.

I have a K&N sock I keep in my battery bag.I dont remember how much it was, but not real expensive. They have it on there website. I ordered the filter and sock from a local automotive chain.

I have ridden in some real frog stranglers with my open filter and never had any problem.
