So, I got a 2004 dyna super glide, and I'm converting the front to a wide glide (easy). I reallllllyyyyy want a pair of the mammoth spoke wheels. My stock wheels sizes are 19" front and 16" rear. If I order the 21x215 front and the 16x3.5 rear, what am I going to need to make the front fit? I know it's a 1" axle, but it comes down to a matter of hub width. I am safe to assume that a wide glide wheel has a different width than my stock narrow glide? Is there a size 21" front wheel hub that is made for a narrow glide? If so, I'll just gett the fatter front rim and the 18" wheel
In short..... What freaking wheel sizes do I need, or what freaking wheels have the correct hubs to fit a converted wide glide front end on my damn superglide?????? I'm so frustrated, I'm about to go shake a baby!
So you're saying I CAN use one of the 21" wheels? Now, if I do, do I need wide glide spacers since my original 19" wheel will be using the conversion kit spacers? I should in theory be able to use ANY wide glide wheel and spacers so long as I have the correct axle?
