Blew off My Screaming eagle slip ons today
I was heading out for the day with a bunch of fellas and when we took off from some lights on the motorway both my mufflers fell off and a car ran over them. I heard the sound change when I backed off the gas and thought I'd blown a header pipe seal or something. I pulled off at the next gas station (just up the road ) to have a look. I noticed a muffler missing then realized that they were both gone. Next thing a little car pulls up and the guy gets out and tells me that my pipes fell off back at the lights and he ran over them. No damage to the guys car fortunately and lucky it wasn't another bike behind me. My mufflers are a bit bruised but they will go back on for now until I change the whole system.

I'll make a bracket that ties the muffler bracket to the front header bracket. Nothing too heavy really just to stop the mufflers going backwards. There is a fair bit of weight in those mufflers and the bracket that ties the two together. I feel a bit much for just those clamps to hold it all on. I'm looking into a Supertrapp set up at the moment, not sure when I can buy something new though.
