Default need help with hot air flow

My passenger is complaining about burning her crotch off lmao plain an simple. Was wondering if any other street bob riders were haven this issue an if they had an ideas. My best guess is that its just hot air blowing off the engine an her legs are funneling it right in.

You could reduce the heat through tuning. Just fitting some Xieds will do a fair job of this.

The cat in the exhaust also produces heat, so if you haven't already then a switch to an after-market exhaust might help.

Then there are some shields/deflectors advertised to move the heat coming up from the engine. No experience of them though.

Try the Kuryakyn saddle shields part # 1317 for Dynas. I always ride one up but I know others that swear by them.

I'm actually curious why your "plain" crotch coolers are listed as "Available for most Harley-Davidson motorcycles, except the Sportster and Street Bob." which would rule all of the Dynas as well since the seat on the Street Bob isn't mounted differently than any other 06+ Dyna. Since the OP has a Street Bob this a pretty relevant question to your statement. So could you explain to us why a piece of leather that hangs over the back of the engine on each side would be that model specific? Your site lists a CC for a Wide Glide only which is a bit confusing to me since the Wide Glide and Fat Bob use the same exhaust which is different than other Dynas but use the same seat mounting (this is per HD catalog listing of seats) and stock football air cleaner as all other 06+ Dyna's. Add to that most of us with Dynas ditch the stock football for aftermarket A/C's which are smaller and would be less likely to get in the way of the crotch cooler. So since the crotch cooler mounts under the seat is there something were not seeing in the way they mount that would make a seat for a Fat Bob fit a Street Bob equally as well as a Wide Glide but wouldn't allow the crotch cooler to fit either one not listed?
