So. I have two sets of jugs. The original silver powder coat jugs from my superglide, and a set of black powdercoat takeoff jugs. I can have either set bored to fit these pistons. I'm thinking I might like the contrast with the black powdercoat jugs in between the silver powdercoat heads and block. Kind of a little original, something everybody hasn't got, and even a little old school look.
These jugs are going to the machine shop in the morning, so ya'll tell me what you think. You guys think the black jugs will look corny sandwiched in there?? Or just enough contrast??
Right now I'm leaning hard to the black jugs.
Give me some input here guys. Maybe somebody could even mock up a superglide with black jugs on photoshop for me??
can't do the photoshop, but, if no-one has something you want to do, you might ask yourself why not? I suggest sticking with matching case to jugs, just my humble opinon - but, do whatever turns your crank.

Psych, mock it up and have a looksee. You have it allright there.
PhotoShop won't tell you much, cause the edges of the cooling fins are machined,
they are not contrasting. I would shop it for you, but.
I have a black set sitting on the bench as well. Debating this issue.
I think it would probably look good.
Mock it up and snap a shot. I would like to see.
(reverse photoshopping).
I would powder coat the jugs flat black (not wrinkle) as well as the rocker covers. Leave the rest silver. I was thinking about doing this in 40-50k miles when I need rings and whatnot.
