Default 08 Fat Bob Propipe possible odd leak

I fired up the bike today and ran my hand around the heat shields to check for any air movement around the clamps. The clamped areas turned out pretty good, however, I could feel a slight amount of exhaust coming from the heat shield opening for the mounting bracket on the megaphone. Specifically from the baffle side. Inspecting with a flashlight I can't see any issues under the heat shield. I also have no idea if there's anything that can be done as the heat shield doesn't look like it will come off the megaphone. It's not a lot of air movement, but enough that I could feel it. Thanks for any input.

You can try loosening the mounting bolts and clamps and tap the end with a rubber mallet to see if it will snug up the connection. I find that works a lot better than trying to adjust it by hand the rubber mallet won't leave scratches. Could be your exhaust shifted after riding or when you originally set it, it wasn't as tight of a fit as you thought. When you ride the metal heats up quite a bit expanding the metal, then when you park it and cools the metal contracts. Without looking beneath the heat shield your also not going to know whether a hole in the exhaust is causing the leak or if its just a loose fit between the connections allowing exhaust to escape. I would try medium force on the end using a rubber mallet or thick padding first to see if some adjustment will solve it first and then if that doesn't get any results start trying to find a hole in the exhaust pipe itself.
