These are what I am using. I had them on a dual sport bike and needed bags to ride to a rally. I found that these fit perfectly between the shock and rear signals with no mods. They worked so well, they never came off. Not waterproof, but covers are available for around $12.00. BTW, they require no bolt on supports, as they are double reinforced and stay right where you place them.
No regrets. You either like how a set of bags looks on your bike or you don't. I went with "looks good enough" and put more emphasis on the features of the bags. Mine hold a lot, are easy to get into and can even be locked with an integrated locking system. I also found some bag liners for them from another bag company that sells a bag with similar dimensions.
The Easy Brackets are the nuts. Bags go on and come off in seconds with the twist of a key. I had to relocate my turn signals and license plate, but I actually like the relo kit appearance better than the OEM placement.
HD hard bags, bolted on. Don't like removable bags as they stick out too far for me and besides, I never want to take them off, at least not yet anyway. Added a picture from the rear.

You have any pics of them on your bike? Curious how they look.
I bought Boss Bags soon after buying the bike. Theyre quick removable and the mounting hardware is almost invisible when the bags are off. They mount very securely and the lid straps are long enough to secure a small roll pack on top of each bag if needed. Im very pleased with them.
