I have an 07 Street Bob still running the stock solo seat. After 22000 miles and several rides I'm thinking I need a little more comfortable seat. What does everyone think is the most comfortable solo seat available?
Looking for advice and input.
Thanks,
I'm going to suggest a Corbin Hollywood Solo for a great daily seat.
At the very least it's as comfy as the stock... but sits you lower and (IMHO) looks a lot sharper. I really like this seat.
ONLY thing that is lame about Corbin, is that its made with its own bolt on mounting system.
I never take off the seat so it don't matter to me..... but if you want to swap out a mustang or sundowner for that super long ride... you might get annoyed.
Got throw in the Solo Danny Gray Big seat with great back support.
What a difference.
My last seat was the Mustang but I wanted something different this bike and I love it.
both are good.
Never tryed these others seat that mention, but I just got a Leather Sick Saddle Solo. I tried it last night and must say it is like sitting on a pillow compared to the stock Wide Glide seat. I like the leather because you do not slide around in the seat. The fit and quality are both A-1...
Fellas,
I'm 6'4 and ride a Fat Bob. I've read all the input on here and it looks like I'm deciding between the Mustang Solo and the Corbin Classic Solo. What is the best for long days on the hightway? I'm going from Washington to Wisconsin next summer and want some that comfort. Thanks!
I bought the Danny Gray Butt Crack Solo WITH the gel.
I was a little leery of how it (and I) would hold up under a several hour trip, but I rode it from Southern Ohio up into Michigan about 80 Miles (Just over 300 Miles one way) and had NO problems with it.
At all.
When I first got the seat, I'm like, "Oh man. This thing feels too hard, I'm gonna hate it."
Nope. Love it. Wouldn't trade it for any seat out there.
If you do think it's what you want -- Shop it -- Hard. Really, really hard.
The pricing differences can be amazing. And yeah, the gel is worth it in the Danny Gray. They do the gel differently from other manufacturers.
Like everything else, it's all subjective. You might hate something I love. And vice versa.
