Never tryed these others seat that mention, but I just got a Leather Sick Saddle Solo. I tried it last night and must say it is like sitting on a pillow compared to the stock Wide Glide seat. I like the leather because you do not slide around in the seat. The fit and quality are both A-1...
+1. Just received mine as well. Very COMFY! Great fit, quality, and customer service!
Just got a harley rallyrunner seat and just went for a 100km ride to try it out and found it really comfortable for a low profile seat and still looks good
I have an 08 FXDC and got the Sundowner 2 up. For me, it's better than the stock seat but I'm not really happy with it either. Took my daughter on a 400 mile round trip ride and we were both squirming in the seat after 100 miles or so.
Of course your own weight and physical attributes (how much a$$ do you sit on) play a part in seat comfort.
I just added highway pegs so the change in position might give me more range, but my passenger might still be a limiting factor.

One question for the Mustang Vintage Solo folks on here - I have about a 34" waist and long thin legs. Is the seat going to be wide enough for me or is my a$$ going to be sitting on the ridges of the seat? That was the issue I ran into with my HD Brawler solo seat. Being tall the top of my butt sat right on that ridge on the back of the seat and it became a little uncomfortable after about 45 minutes.
Also while I'm on here I'll ask the other question I have. It doesn't look like there is a back rest available for the regular vintage solo. Is that correct? And if not, how are the long rides without it?
I'm on the verge of getting that Mustang Vintage Solo but wanted to check first. Thanks!
I have the non wide Mustang Vintage solo and it is fine on a long trip with no backrest. Have done a few 1,000 mile days with it and no complaints. Of course I did have a bag strapped on behind the seat that sort of worked as a soft backrest though.
I just in from a 315 mile day on my Sundowner 2-up and my *** feels fine. I really like it. I had the Mustang wide on my previous bike and liked it also. Can't go wrong with either. IMO
