I have replaced the stock FXDB baffles with Cycles Shack baffles, and would like to add the BCT to lower the tone some. My thoughts were that these go in the headers.
Thanks.
They sell both styles....call them and discuss your needs.
I'm running a set of Big Radius 2 into 2 on my '12 WG, I wanted to tone it down a little because the pipes were too loud for my liking. I installed the QQs and they sound great, the only complaint I have is that the bike doesn't pull as hard as it used too. Around town its great, but before the bike would pull hard to 120, after installing these baffles I was struggling after about 105. I'm running a V&H FuelPak and Xieds. So I called V&H, got another map, and the bike ran like crap. So I just pulled the baffles and installed the originals, I also re-mapped the bike like it was before I called V&H. I'm not going to say that it was the baffles, and most people don't run 120, I probably need a new tuner or a dyno tune w/the QQs to get what I want out of the bike. The problem is that I am unsure as to what tuner to buy and that could be a $350 mistake..

I would venture to guess your issue is the FuelPak AND xieds together, neither is a true tuner that will provide top performance.
With the QQ in my Big radius 2-2 they pulled much better, especially in the mid range, but then again, I never purposely run my bike up over 100,
Supposedly the FuelPak only changes the A/F ratio above 50% throttle, ( I am no professional tuner, and I read that on a thread) so I bought the Xieds to change the A/F ratio until the FuelPak "kicks in" at half throttle. I was running the FuelPak at first and was unhappy with the performance after changing my pipes and A/C, I believe I had lost torque and the bike ran better stock.... So I bought the Xieds (cheaper than buying a tuner).. and the bike runs good now, but I have never had another set up on the bike to compare it so that's my own opinion... I was thinking about taking all of it off this winter and buying a tuner. What type or brand of tuner would you recommend?

After trying a few different tuners, inc. FuelPak, PC III, and now the ThunderMax Autotuner, I would never run anything other than the ThunderMax, performance wise the other did not even compare. All three of these were on the same bike, so I have a good basis for comparison.
i did a ton of research on this after running the first 2 because I was not satisfied with either one. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the TMax, I avoided it at first because of cost. (found a great deal from a form sponsor) Now I only wish I had saved the money on other tuners and bought the TMax first.
You will get tons of opinions, this is only mine but I am sold on the TMax.
Thanks for for the info, I think that I will spring for the T-Max, eventually I want to put a big bore kit on and I think that this will help me when I have it tuned...
