is there any mod for foot boards on foward controls. thanks for anny info

 

This is what I did:



Pretty straight forward. The foot brake required either an expensive HD bolt or just remove the footpeg off the mount like I did.

My floor boards. Stick out a bit but a small sacrifice for the comfort factor they bring.

 

I think I actually have more clearance with them.

 

Any issues putting these on? Can you post some pics of the setup? I am thinking about doing this to my Street Bob.

I also posted a parts/price list in a post. You're looking at about $470 USD to do the job (if you already have HD forwards) you can reuse some of the parts from that kit, or resell it and recoup some of your $s.

Thanks, pics look good. Doesn't look like I will have any issues using the Switchback set up on my bike.

Do you have a link to the thread where you list the parts needed?

Are you hppy with the detach bags? I have thought about adding them as well, seeing as to how my past bag was distroyed a few weeks ago.
