Do you have a link to the thread where you list the parts needed?

Are you hppy with the detach bags? I have thought about adding them as well, seeing as to how my past bag was distroyed a few weeks ago.
Detach bags are the $hit in my book! I have the docking stations set up to accept those, and a sissy bar w/ rack. so, I can switch to 2-up in about 5 min. or less. When I get to where I'm going... I pop off the bags, sissy bar, and windshield, leave them in my tent, room, ect. and putt around "bare bones".... works for me. Plus I have room for rain gear, extra cloths, food drink, and such.

Here's a list with some notes to do the foot board job using Switchback parts.

Here's another little tid-bit to get you going.

Here 's a list of P.N.'s and prices as they applied to me, having an'06 Superglide W/Fwd controls and Vance & Hines Bigshot exhaust.

NOTES:
#1; If HD Fwd controls are already on the bike, the existing part is the same P.N
.If NOT HD Fwd controls, OR is HD mid controls, this part may be needed.

#2; These parts are needed if the bike has mid controls. If HD Fwd controls are already on the bike, these parts are not needed.

#3; These are Stock FLD (Chrome) footboards and come with the PAD, I Opted for P.N. 51322-08 FOOTBOARDS (Black) from the ’12 HD custom book (I’m not real big on chrome) and my parts guy gave me a set of stock “take off” standard PAD, footrest.`

Here is what I managed to put together for my list.

Everything for the footboards except the actual Footboard Pans and Inserts
4512A Screw (8) $1.10 ea
50674-05 Bolt (4) $1.65 ea
7354 Nut (4) $1.10 ea
54165-12 R Footboard Support $39.54
54172-12 R Footboard Support Assembly 54.81
54173-12 L Footboard Support $39.54
54174-12 L Footboard Assembly $54.81
Total Cost $208.50

33708-94 Bearing Sleeve (2) $2.20 ea (Thispart is in the Drawing in the book, but you did not list it, ???)
Total Cost $4.40

Everything for the Brake
38161-12 Brake Push Rod $54.42
4997 Screw $3.52
38160-12 Brake Lever Cap $8.76
38157-12 Brake Lever Assembly $83.25
42665-03 Pivot Shaft $9.20
Total Cost $159.15

Total cost for everything above is $372.05 Seems like a good price for a stock setup before you use whichever pans, pads, inserts and Shift pegs you go with.

Now I am thinking I will be going with the HD tribal theme
51060-08 Swept Wing Black Rider Footboards $62.87
Tribal Rider Footboard Insert – Swept Wing $78.60
Tribal Shift Peg $23.96
Tribal Large Brake Pad $31.96

Bringing my total cost to convert from my forward controls to Floorboards will be $569.44

I will take the stock parts you listed and get prices on tem to see how much they would change the price and post the difference when I have a chance.

Really like your setup. However I don't have the fabrication capabilities. Like what i see in the first pic also. Which ones are those? Where they bolt-on?

Thanks

Check the prices on Surdyke. I saved a bundle.

The bearing sleeve is already installed in the other part I believe.

They're Kuryakyn's passenger boards, (Part #7906)
Simply bolt on to your stock peg mounts.
Kind of pricey, but I found a great deal on these from e-Bay.

Wyatt makes a floorboard setup. Its about $400. A lot of members seem to like it. It's made for the Dyna and bolts up, and is a complete package.

That is a great list, thanks for doing some all of that research. I am also thinking about making the switch but I was only looking at Surdyke and the hardware p/n's weren't coming up on their site. If I do go through with this I'm going to go with the black half moon pans from the crossbones like Muddyape did and just go with the factory rubber inserts, rubber brake pedal pad and rubber shifter peg.

I made this list to give people numbers to look at mainly. Where you see "N/A" under the Surduke colors (red), those part numbers don't show up, as you said, on there web page.

I plan on also going all black and plan on using the Swept Back board and the Tribal insets, I also plan on converting the rears to floorboards and using the FHLX swept back pans (after I have the FHLX removed and maybe having FXDB put in place of it.) total cost is around $900 through New Castle HD, but I am friends with my local dealer GM and I am going to see if he will match the cost so I can avoid S/H cost.
