Very nice, when I read the title I have to admit I was disapointed but now that I have seen the pics no disappointment at all nice looking ride!

Touring? The wife and I just rode 1300 miles to and from Sturgis on my Wide Glide with nothing but a backpack! Of course, our asses and kidneys were beat to hell lol... Beautiful bike man, always loved green and black!

Good looking bike but I do have a question. You said you were looking for something "more touring like". Having never owned a bike with apes (and I would probably be illegal riding a bike like that because I am sure they would be above my shoulders), are they comfortable on long trips? Enjoy the new ride!

You would be amazed how comfortable apes can be if you have the right seating position, leg position etc.

Nice ride brother!

I also looked at both the Heritage and the Deluxe when shopping last year.. Finally settled on my FXD. If i had it to do again I doubt I would have done it any different though I did like the softies alot!

Maybe one day on the softie.. probably will be a Fatboy when that day comes tho
