Been lurking for too long and thought I should join the party. I bought my first bike, a 2012 Fatbob last October, and after our PCH roadtrip we're taking in a couple weeks I will have put down about 12k miles on it. Loved every bit of it. Well, there were a few miles that were too hot, felt like riding with a hot hair dryer blowing in my face.
First, thanks to everyone here, it's a great community with lots of great ideas and knowledge. Much of which has motivated me to start doing the work on the bike myself. Most of which has not gone smoothly (note scratches on fender, etc), but rather than blame my total lack of experience, I'll just blame Harley for somehow making even the seamingly simple things a pain in the ***. Either way, can't wait to start in on a second bike someday stealing lots of great ideas from this forum.
Hopefully I successfully linked in our PCH route and having never been on most of the roads, if anyone has some suggestions for different routes or stops, I'd love to hear them. The only must do stops are in Bandon for some golf and the Rose Bowl for the Cornhusker football game.
And since it's clear that

here is my Fatbob. I still have some powder coating to do on the fender struts, need new grips, some hand levers, different mirrors...

Welcome from Arizona. I'm envious of your PCH ride. Its on my bucket list of rides I want to do. Let use know how it goes. I'm considering it next year.
