Which would u choose?the s&s is like 3 bills cheaper, but where do they or are they cutting corners as compared to the NRHS kit?Do the s&s kits come with moly rings and good gaskets like the NRHS kits? I'm assuming the s&s kits are using bored out stock barrels while the NRHS guys are using fresh barrels.Anybody know the hard facts as far as difference between the two kits? Kinda leaning towards NRHS,but 3 bills is a lotta scratch!
S&S uses new jugs, I think the NRHS one does as well, but they are Axtell jugs. Both are good, I have heard really good things about the S&S kit, and it is a good value.
The pistons used in the S&S kits are really bad IMO. I recently had a customer send me his S&S kit after only 12,00 miles of use so we could bore out the cylinders and install new NRHS pistons as the S&S pistons were worn out. They have a horrible skirt design whichcauses them to rock in the bore and wear out very fast, plus they are nowhere near as high of quality as the ones NRHS sells.
I was leaning towards your kit anyhow, but I also thought s&s was a reputable joint...what gives with the shitty pistons? Why are yours better? Thx
