kraftech makes realy good frames , i have a fxr kraftech frame with baker 5 sp and bdl belt drive . nice looking sled you got have fun with it. is that a 5 stud 10 spring clutch i see ?

I don't understand how one type of primary would transfer power better than another.

It has no compensator its direct power to the transmission

I'm thinking about building a rigid bike too. I like the challange of making your own parts for the bike, fan of Indian Larry style bikes.
