I am looking for dome new ideas for my Lowrider. I have Mini apes on it right now but am looking into relocating my Idiot lights and removing the 6 in risers and going with 16" bars and 2" risers. I also have a Kurykan stage 1 intake PCV and Vance and Hines Big Radious 2 into 2 installed. I am mainly looking for ways to clean the bike up. Thanks for any help
from your post, i assume you mounted the miniapes to the risers with the idiot lights still in it? i was thinking of doing the same thing with my 06 lowrider, but was not sure how it would look with the original riser setup. do you have any pics of it? did you have to extend any cables or wiring? thanks for any info help in making a decision.
If you guys come up with any ideas on how to move the idiot lights let me know. I want to put a set of the street slammers on mine but don't know what I would do with the lights
I installed 12inch biltwell bars and biltwell risers on my 09 FXDL. I also made a new idiot light bracket out of SS steel. The original FXDl risers want look good because they curve and the bars
Here is a picture from the front. I read a post on here about using LED lights in the dash for the oil light and the neutral light that looked good. I am thinking about doing that

I also had to replaced the cables but that was because I went to forward controls.
thanks for the pic. i had thought about trying to cut about an 1 1/2" to 2" off the bottom of the riser and then redrill for the bolts. not sure yet if it will work or how it will look. that would let me leave the light panel as is which i like, but allow it drop down a little and maybe be able to not replace cables. still thinking about it though, haven't made that commitment to change it yet. thanks again.
Hey all. I went with the lowrider setup on my bob cause I wanted the tach. Because it works that way I know that a bob setup will work on your low if you don't mind doing away with your tach. Just a thought.
buellrider76 you wouldn't even have to do away with the tach. They offer a speedo/tach combo that is digital for them so I also thought about that route. I am Deployed to kuwait right now so I am missing the riding season so I will be back for winter and have plenty of things to do before spring time in Germany.
