Handle bar risers
Due to rain and days getting shorter I was off my Sportster for just over a week. The first ride after that I again noticed the need for about 1 to 1 1/2 inch riser to bring the handle bars back toward me. I found a place thru ebay that makes round type risers out of polished aluminum for around $45 with new bolts. Would something like that under the base of this type of 2014 mount look bad ? Is there any other choices besides changing out the handle bars ? Really don't want to got that route as about a 3 months ago I put a set of nice expensive grips on gluing the left side.

I have the same setup as you on my 06. The way the risers are on the customs, there aren't many options. You might be better off just going with different risers altogether. I think extensions would look funny. Of course with new risers, then you have to either figure out what to do with the indicator lights or do away with them. I am looking at new risers options for myself. I ordered a new top clamp that fits my indicator lights from an earlier model Sportster (and some Dynas I think.) Part number 56074-96. So now I am looking into new risers.
