Hi,i've been reading the spec on the the 2013 Fatbob & it lists the Speedometer has having a revs & gear indicator section(as well as 6th gear indicator),but looking at the pics the Speedo assembly looks the same as my 2011 Fatbob,i'm confused about how it displays these features,anyone any idea,thanks,it also lists the same feature for the 2012.

The revs and gear are in the LCD of the speedo. Fairly small but OK.

You probably have one in your 2011, I'm 90% sure my buddy's 2010 FXDWG has it.

 

Nope. 2012 was the first year for this when they changed the CAN BUS system.

 

My 2012 Switchback has it - it's pretty handy but not as nice as an actual gauge...but I'm still adjusting to have to look down at your gauges anyway. My sportster had them right out in front of your face.

 

Actually, the HD-LAN system first came out with the '11 Softails.

True. But we weren't talking about Softails, we were talking about Dynas which changed over in 2012.
