If it only does it when the clutch is engaged, the clutch is telling you something. Maybe for some reason it is out of balance or the mainshaft is bent. Could be a bad bearing in the tranny. The auto ratcheting chain tension could be messed up and when the clutch engages it puts a load on it or something. The fact that it does only when the clutch is engaged tells you something. Possibly the gear on the clutch is not round or warped.

I brought my 2010 Fat Bob in for the same thing and they told me about the service bulletin for the motor mount. Everything has been fine since.

Well finall y got my bike back still vibrating in the bars, pegs, seat going on 3 months now that the dealer ship(Barrie H-D Ontario,Davies H-D Ontario)bike was damaged at barrie fought with them to take all the scatches out of my valve covers and replace custom derby cover which was chiped and scatched, they spilt lock tight on my primery cover then fired the bike up and baked the lock tight in to cover, they(barrie) then tried to buff it out, only problim its a textured cover and know they smoothed out the texture were the lock tite stain was and yes its even worse wouldnt replace it,i have never had so much problems with owning a motorcycle this is my third harley 1983 fxsb,1995 sportster and both these bikes ran as smooth as glass and smother then my fatbob, i know half to make a trip to deely concord ontario so they can test ride my bike or should i say nightmare!!!!!!What the hell happened to these guys ,used to be a day were youd bring your bike in for service and the actully cared about your concern and problems and fix it! know they just stand thier and lie to your face and expect you to take it,and the fact that they keep making excuse after excuse pisses me off even more almost like there draging this out so my warrenty runs out, they also contiue to ignore the fact that there was no vibration in the pegs or seat untill barrie h-d did the service and changed my tires,by the way they overfilled my crankcase when changing oil, front wieght flu off my tire,i have repeatedly told them when you pull the clutch in all vibrations dissapear???well i try my luck at head office on the 15 oct,but im doughting anything is going to happen sinc e the service i been getting latly is nothing but a joke!!!these dealer ships even go as far as saying the bike rides as same as a bran new bike!!!!!Bullshit,if something isnt done i gusse ill half to take the long route BBB and go to war with H-D,any body else thats been treated like crap or ripped off by hd please email me i think the public and the media should see how h-d treats there customers, your there bestfriend when purchasing your bike but after that its like they dont even here you if theres a problem.talk to you in a couple of weeks to let you know what happens."Bad Vibrations All Around"
