My 1st speeding ticket was on a motorcycle. I was 16 (1970) and had just worked my first week at a new summer job. The plant shut down for a week to do maintenance, so I was off for a week and had some bucks in my pocket. For some dumbass reason, I let a little throttle loose (Honda CB175) and got nailed for 75 in a 35. Four points and $50. Oh well, pay the man.

I was pulled over for multiple charges. I was threatened with being arrested and having my bike impounded. I didnt say a word. I knew the ***** was lying about 1 of the 3 charges he was threatening but wasnt going to argue. I was going to go with whatever they said and call a lawyer once I was in jail. The cop gave me a warning. Im guessing it was going to be too much paper work arresting me. I know had I argued or admitted anything they were going to fry me.
Everyone that said dont admit to anything hit the nail on the head. I dont talk at all & do my best to only answer yes or no questions.

lawman is always right - on the side of the road.
fighting is done in court.
if you're clearly in the right, judge might cut you loose.
if you are even slightly on the wrong side of the law
the judge will surely whack that gavel down

As another five minutes of lecture proceeds, I am tabulating the damage.
Tickets in Tejas ain't cheap.
150-200 for each infraction.
I figure I'm at about 7-800 already.
The stealth cops here pride themselves on multiple infraction incidents.
So, then he hands my paperwork back to me,
and says -
"you need to slow it down a bit".

Sheeeet, every day I'm riding I deserve a ticket and never get one (Knock on wood).
I figure if/when I do get my next one, even if I'm not guilty of that actual offense, I deserve one and won't bitch about it.
