Default T-Bars with Forward Controls?

I'm very interested in installing a set of T-Bars on my '06 Street Bob but I am currently running forward controls on the bike and my only concern is that the straighter bars will pull me into a more awkward forward position. Anyone out there got both the T-bars and forward controls have any issues? Is this an unfounded concern?

It's all going to depend on the rise and pullback of the T-bars compared to what you currently have. When I did mine, I went from the old FXR type bars to the 1 1/4" chubby T-bars with an 8" rise but it has about 1" more pullback than the old ones did. I haven't had any problems yet. Thoe are the old bars in my pic, the bike is getting a new coat of paint right now and pics will be out the the new stuff next week.

I just put forwards on my bike with T-Bars, I believe it's 8" rise, and 4" pullback, I can't remember... But It's cozy.

Pic is pre-forwards

It all depends on how tall you are?

OK, thanks for the feedback. I'm 5'9, I don't think it'll be too much of a problem . . .

I ride 16 inch bars with forwards, as long as the pullback isn't too much for your arms (idk how long your arms are) you should be fine. I run mine close to straight up, but i'm 6'6.

I've got the 12" T-bars with straight risers and forwards on my SB and that setup works great for me. I'm 5'11" but have long arms and legs.
