They look pretty cool. But they don't really look like they belong on a Harley.

I think they are a little too high and maybe a little too far back. I would like something about 3-4" further back than the mids, but at the same level from the ground. You could always modify the linkage up top to a seesaw style to retain the shift pattern.

When you ride a sport bike you sacrifice comfort for raw power and speed. Why on earth would you want to be uncomfortable on a bike not even half as fast?

Probably because I have been slowly making mine more like the sport bikes I used to ride, just not as extreme - I sport touring bike has a more relaxed seating position than does an all out race replica. All depends on personal preference, I like low bars, leaning forward a bit and would already have move the mids back if there was something available.

Excellent point. Rearsets are about as useless as a titless WAF on a harley (except for an XR1200).

this is not true.


if i had rear sets available when I had my 4 inch stepped z bars. they bike would have been perfect. if you dont know, then you will never know.
