the fuel filter does need to be changed, i don't belive its going to solve the problem with the injector. since you moved the injector from back cylinder to front cylinder and now the front cylinder is not running you have found the problem. damage done why did it fail, trash maybe, there are several things it could be inside the injector. if you want, move the bad injector back to the rear cylinder. see if they exchange these injectors, just a thought.

I know this....
I was only saying that apparently something got into my injector so I might as well replace the old filter a new clean one to help insure the new injectors don't go bad the same way.
The area I live and work in has very crappy quality gas any way, so anything will help.

So after days of scratching the ol' brain..... I got it running.
I replaced the filter and rigged up a can of cleaner to it and flushed them out....for a second time. My 10 year old son ask me to exsplain how the valves work.
THE REAR CYLINDERS PUSH RODS WHERE IN BACKWARDS!!!!

I swap them out and it starts right up....
