...whoever designed the original 5.5" light for HD should have been hung.... I added a set of MotoLights to my T-Sport and a Headwinds reflector and the biggets bulb I could find and although much better than stock one could still overdirve the light...not so with this LED.
It puts out a hot U shaped center with two wings off the center hot spot...it is almost like looking at a flying goose from the rear. When Hi is activated it throws a box of high intensity light right over the U in just the travel lane....a LONG way out.
This light is so bight I see reflections off street signs DURING THE DAY with the sun out.
To those who have installed this Harley part...
Review the install and product itself. Was it worth the money?
I must say it looks pretty cool.
I have the Kuryakyn one on my streeglide and I think Im going to see if the softail light fits on my dads Dyna. I think it look way better. Its just as bright as Harleys yet cost between $270-299 depending on where you get it. If you do some research on this forum you can find the company that makes the light for harley here in the states. And its about $175 less than harley sells it for. Here is the link for Kuryakyns light. They also have a halo that goes around it which I bought. http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/396...-Passing-Lamps
