I Just purchase a new 2012 Street Bob and am 5'6 and cant reach forward controls. Are there any after market pegs that would work for my 28" length legs. LOL I did see a kit that adjusts to 4 inches forward/backward and was on a used street bob in a dealership in California but I still couldnt reach them.

If you purchased new, why did you get forward controls? The street bob comes with mids stock. Talk to the dealer and see if they can put the mids back on.

 

 

To me, there are several reasons to have mid pegs/highway pegs instead of forward controls. I just feel I have more control with mid pegs. Plus with highway pegs I have the option of different leg positions on longer rides. I even use the passenger pegs too. So that leaves me with three different leg options. I also never liked the feeling of forward controls.

That said, if you like the forward controls you can get the reduced reach forward control kit.
