Default Fix me up please!

Howdy Ladies and Gents,
This is my first post but I have lurked here for a little while. I am active duty military living overseas at the moment. I bought a 2012 Fat Bob in March and just recently had a chance to ride it. I put 1200 miles on it in the 2 weeks that I was on leave. It felt great!! I am very new to bikes and engines. This is my first street bike. I am in need of a lot of advice. I want the V&H Big Radius 2-into-1 pipes but I need advice on the intake, tuner, and whatever else I need to get this beast running better. I don't want such power that will burn my engine out in a week because this bike will also be my everyday ride. Still, I want earth shaking power . I travel a lot and don't need to be hassled about noise laws but I need some more noise too. Can you guys please give me a hand on tuners and intakes?
Thanks in advance,
Semper Fi

Arlen Ness Intake
Pipes depend on what you like for looks. Power = Thunderheader but I run short shots because I'm still not to sure about the looks of 2-1 pipes. Although a T-header has been on my mind though.
Tuners: I'm happy with my Powercommander V. Everybody I know with a powervision like it. And the last one that a lot of hands on guys use is the TTS Mastertune.

Good luck with the bike and thank you for your service.

if your looking to get vance and hines pipes, call them and ask if they'll give you a package deal on pipes and a fuelpak. since your not going for all out performance the fuelpak will probably do just fine. and its really easy to install and setup.

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your service!

Take a look at the OUTLAW HiFlow 587 Air Cleaners. You will be surprised how much one of these wakes up your engine in conjunction with a decent tune.

Fuel Tuners run from the FL-XiED-10, to the Power Commander 5, TTS and probably the best available is the PowerVision. Just depends on what you want to spend, and time you want to take getting the best tune possible.

I am running an XiED on one of my bikes and a PCV on another. Very happy with both.

Thanks for the advice so far fellas. The PowerVision sounds great but I don't want anything mounted on my handlebars. I think I will go with the Power Commander V. I'm not buying my pipes directly from V&H or I would probably go with the package deal. The DK products seem to have what I want. Fuel Moto does not have an intake that I like so far. What about Hyperchargers? They look cool enough but are they worth it?

I have a Dk Intake with the outlaw bolts on my bike and like it alot , I also have the power vision. You don't have to keep the power vision mounted on the handle bars it is a flash tuner way to go imo!

hyperchargers are purely looks. they dont perform very well. and +1 on the powervision, handlebar mount is an option. it gives you the flexibility to mount it on the handlebars if you want to, not mandatory.

What are the differences in performance with the powervision and the pcv? What about the intakes that are mounted at 90 degrees? Sorry for all the questions but like I said, I am very new to all of this.

Do I need the auto-tuner and everything else that sells with the pcv?
