Default FXDL Handlebar question/opinions

Hey everyone, was hoping to get some insight in the ways of new handlebar shopping. I have NO idea where to start or how to even get an idea on what to look for. I know that I basically want to end up with the bars at the same height they are now but pulled back about 1.5"-2"

I am not in love with my stock bars but I don't absolutely hate the look, but I was thinking of possibly going with more of a drag style bar.

Hoping maybe somebody has some photos of doing a similar setup on their own bikes.

Should I go with a 1 piece handlebar or stick with a separate Handlebar/Riser setup? Should I stick with the stock bars and just look for a new set of risers? does anyone know what the stock rise/pullback measurement is on an 06 FXDL?

Please Help...I just feel downright lost on this.

Something to consider is maybe a 4-6" riser and a set of nightster bars. The added height will bring the bars up and back and the nightster bars have a comfortable bend. If you truly want pull back you'll have to go to a riser that bends back towards you and they don't look very good IMO.

On an FXDC I used Duece bars with a 6 inch riser and 1.5 pullback. I hated the stock bars angle for my wrist.
See attached pics. (also no need to change any cables/wires I just turned the captive loop for the wiring loom around on the top tree)
I love they way they feel now..

This is obvious, but you can loosen the four pinch bolts and rotate the stock bars back 2 inches. I actually rotated them forward to verticle because I needed more room and I liked the way it looked.

I really like my drag bars with a 6" rise.

I used Harley Street Slammers, got em from lakeshore harley for $215. Way more comfortable than stock. I moved my indicator lights to the dash, just took a little dremel work. I did not have to replace any cables.

Tried that, there just isn't that much difference in my stock bars when rotated.

There was a customers bike in the service center that had those on it, I wanted to just hop on it and get a feel for them but not without the owner giving me permission would I do that. I like the look of the lights there too. Do you know what the measurements are on those and you definitely feel it moved the riding position back a bit?

Let me know if you'd be interested in these. They came on my '03 Low Rider but I went back to the stock bars. The pictures are of the bars and the bike when the bars were on the bike.
