So you'll have to pay the tax and license in your home state, right? Most states won't collect the tax if you live in a different state; you pay the tax when you register and license it. I was at a dealer today looking with my wife for a Low Rider for her. They said they would do $15,500 too. If you are getting it with TTL that would be real nice! Good luck!
Rest easy my man...you got a GREAT deal! And Low Riders are such sweet bikes......

Wow is that a lowered lowrider? how does it ride?
Actually, it's a 2005 Superglide! They are basically the same bike. Your lowrider comes from the factory with 11.6 inch long rear shocks. I bought Progressive 412 Heavy Duty shocks from jireh cycles, delivered for 200 bucks! They are 11 inches long...so .6 or 1/2 inch shorter. I ride solo 100% of the time, and have NEVER bottomed out! The progressives come from the factory adjsuted to the middle position, and it works GREAT! might have to tweak the jiffy stand a little to keep the bike leaned over enough when parked....just take it off and have it bent a hair in a hydralic bender, or buy a 1 inch shorter one from the MOCO, tried to heat and bend mine...it worked a little bit....the front end hasn't been touched. However, my Susie is under construction being that I'm putting a raked front end on it and some custom painted tins!
again...sweet bike you got there! Don't be afraid to go with 11 inch shocks in the rear unless you are riding 2-up...then just leave it as-is. As for me...I could never ride a bike that hasn't been customized...I jsut don't like stock bikes, regardless of make...[&:]
