I have a 99 FXDX and the black handlebars are looking a little ratty. I'd like to go an inch higher.
I haven't really had any luck measuring them. Any ideas what the stock ones are?
The bars are available if you want to replace them. To raise them a 1" or so just buy after market risers for your triple trees. You can get 1 3/4" rise with no pull back and they are cheap - drag specialties big book... Stock cables will work.
They are the same on 99's and 2000's.........Like PhotoRider said, HD part # 56085-83A. According to HD they measure: 31" wide, 6" rise and 5.75" pullback. I have mine off my 99 FXDX if you want another set.

I like the riser idea. Sagebrush, how good of shape are your bars? Mine are scratched and the black looks stained from cleaning them over the years. How much are you talking?
Thanks guys..
