I use HD plug ins, they work great, but they aren't cheap.

I have some real good winter riding gloves but they are way too thick, can't even release the clutch properly, how can I ride? Here is the thing, the thin gloves won't keep you warm, the thick gloves are too bulky. Heated is the way to go!
