If you put a picture of the bike up on here I'm sure there are plenty of guys who could tell you it the frame actually needs to go. Sounds to me like it just needs some fender strut work/replacement, which isn't really that big a deal. Power on the 05 bikes is decent with a stage 1 but that bike is an 88 incher, not a 96. I've had an 05 and now an 04 and the only problem is the phrase "fits dyna models 06-present".

Or... Fits 99-05 Dyna, except FXDWG

I looked at it as he was driving it and it looked like it was tracking straight. If I get time I'll ride down and ride it the guy said it drove and rode good. I just wanted some input from some other people before I jumped in.
