Well after being at the dealership, for what seems like forever I finally yesterday was able to get my bike back. Was at the dealership to get tuned (I installed a stage iv kit) and some other small things fixed. I can't believe the difference in power, rides like a totally different bike!
I don't care if it's cold out, I'm gonna leather up and do some riding! I highly recommend this kit, made 112 horses and 110 foot pounds of torque. Compared to my original numbers of 73, its night and day difference...
Put a 100 miles on her today and man am I happy. Going to go out again for another 100 or so tomorrow. Weather was nice and it's suppose to be even better tomorrow. My only issue and not that I'm complaining, but I think the cam may be a tad to far to the right. To actually "feel" the power I have to get up into the rpm's. Not to say there isn't anything down low, just not as much when say above 3500. Around there hold on, she's taking off!
On the chart there's a pretty big dip from around 2200 to 3100 RPM's. That would explain why you're not feeling the power until 3500 RPM's. What cams are you running? When the bike was dyno'd did they try and move the power around to come on earlier and to eliminate the dip?

Nice, build I am endvious, but I agree with what ReapersWG said in the other thread with the 259E cams you should see a nice gradual climb not a huge dip and the mid low RPM then a sudden rapid climb.
As the Pro Hot Rod engine builders all say you want a constaint climb in power not a sudden rush or burst. In the good old days we all were impressed with the guys on the street who's machines would have slight hesitation then a huge burst of power when they mashed the wow pedal. Fact was at the track they would always get spanked. While they were waiting for the power band to "Kick In" the competion was already gone.
In short it it the tune, if you are happy now, you will be delerious after.

Thats exactly thats going on. I can totally feel a dip in power, then a big rush of it coming back. After I regain some funds back I'm going to take it to a different tuner. As for now I guess I'll be happy with what I've got. Thanks for the feedback guys...
Very nice looking bike. I was just wondering, How do you like that exhaust. I really like the look, but I'm curious about how it sounds.
Well it wasn't my first choice in pipe, but I'm after getting it put on I'm glad I picked it up. Sound great, nice low rumble sound. I'll do a vid here soon and post up...
