Well, that really sux! Glad you're somewhat OK. Get a hold of your insurance and start the process. That's what you pay those premiums for...

Glad your ok too man... I always wear gloves.. no matter how hot it gets. Specifically Kevlar lined police style close fitting search gloves from Hatch.. let us know how it turns out..

How pathetic is our insurance industry where we don't even want to call them to file claims?

Got to get a police report or accident report and talk to your insurance company.
Once they determine fault and your policies limits and inclusions you will find out whats up.
Got to be careful following on the the highway, especially 95 in the Mid Atlantic states and North East, it is crazy and people are nuts.

Your lucky your not splatted all over the highway.
No matter what happens with the bike you are very lucky.

get better... get gloves... glad you're on the mend. way too many of these incidents lately. crappy it happened.

Glad to hear that basically you are ok. As other have already advised get the police report and do not hesitate another day, call your insurance company and let them do their thing.

Take your time and heal up good.

Right away, get police report, and hospital bills, get the bike to the most expensive dealer in your area, contact insurance company and get started on getting some benefit from all the premiums you paid.

Glad you're ok, so get to feeling better, the same happened to a buddy of mine on Labor Day so I have an idea of how you're feeling. Just keep in the back of your mind, "the bike can be replaced, you cannot".
