1998 Wide Glide...
I've been looking around for a couple months at new and slightly used WGs for sale, and today I came across a 1998 in great shape.
I originally wasn't looking for something this old, but when I realized that I could buy it straight out, it did gain a lot of appeal to me.
I haven't seen it in person, but the pictures show it to be in great shape, and the dealership said there was no problems at all, and everything ran and worked great. 37,000 miles.
Their asking price is $5,995. This will be the first time I've ever dealt with a dealer and I'm not sure how firm they usually are on price, so....
According to what I've seen on Ebay and some other classifieds, that's a decent price, but I've not seen a lot to know if it is for sure or not.
Being new to HD, what do some of you guys think? Price ok? In your opinion should I stay with the newer models?
I'll be taking a couple guys that have been riding for years to give it a spin and give me their opinions when I go and check it out tomorrow.

That price is low. If good shape, grab it. Lots of people prefer Evolution engine over Twin Cams.
