Stator went out Grrrrr!
Ok,we'll looks like my stator took a dump on me unfortunately.Thinking about doing it myself,I have the manual.Im thinking im gonna try to do it without pulling the clutch basket.Is there anything else i should check or replace while im in there?Are there higher output stators avail,and would it be an improvement over stock?or should I stick with stock?And what about the rotor?Do the magnets ever weaken,or if they haven't fallen off they're good? 2000fxdwg 45k+ mi thanks.

just recently went thru this...
Get your new Sttor rom these guys.... cycleelectrcinc.com
And t's usualy advised to get a new regulator at the same time.
As long rotor magnets not loose there good to go....
