Bike has about 22k miles on her, so it's not been a garage queen. Guy says the bike had the 20k service done. Bike has a small dent in the left side tank which appears to be from a tip over. Bike went out of factory warranty in Sept.
Anything you'd be looking out for on a higher mileage, recent year bike?
I think I can get the bike for about $10k. Seems like a decent deal...
What a deaaler might ask retail in EXCELLENT condition 13,240.
You can take it from there.
Milage is not unreasonable high but definately not a low milage bike for its age.
The big issue is the dent in the tank.
Of course I havent seen the bike but knowing the tank is dented I would definately be thinking less than good condition trade in.
Other considerations, are the handlebars or risers bent or tweeked? With over 20k mi. are the tires ready for replacement? any other scrapes ,scratches, dings or dents?
Think if you wanted to resell it. How hard would it be with a dented tank and how much to replace the tank?
Good Luck whatever you decide.
Easy to compare with a local dealer , low milage , two year/12,000 warrante.

I'm thinking worse case...if the tank was a resale issue it could be fixed or replaced. It's not horrible, but it is noticeable.
For the right price it's addressable especially with the other extras on the bike.

Just playing devil's advocate here.
