Default T-header install

Couldn't get to it yesterday...90% done but how the hell do you get the C clamp over the pipe? I think someone mentioned that HD makes a cheaper, thinner Clamp but unconfirmed.

Any tips or tricks? I want to bang this out today!

I put one end in a bench vice, and pulled out on the other with pair of channel locks.

I used a big chisel that was tapered and just tapped it in between with a hammer.

Phew got it done, not hard, just tedious getting lined up. I know it smokes a little with fumes at first from the oils on the pipe. How long does that last. I didn't have time to ride but i ran it for a good 10 mins while messing with the PCV and it was smoking the whole time. Kind of made me nervous an exhaust gasket was frying but it smelled very fume-ish like paint (not fuel) so I'm assuming its just the coating on the pipe?

Haha they're coming, got an essay to write tonight. Back in school this semester

Ugh, now I need to get my shocks powdercoated, they stand out like a sore thumb with the T-header and black air cleaner cover. They're the only thing left with any shine to them. That any my wheels. It's always something...
