Sorry A1A. I paid extra for HD to cancel the Candy Orange option. I'll have the only SB in this color.
Wouldn't you prefer a nice black? It's the new ......well, black.
Seriously though, if you haven't seen the big flake colors in person, you owe it to yourself to do so. The online pics don't do them justice. The metal-flake green and metal-flake gold are very very cool. I was very close to choosing the green.
I love my big bass boat green bike! Some of the old dudes snicker but the ladies all wanna kiss the blarney stone! /wink I opted to go chrome with the green though vs the black normal of the bobber, i think the green/black kind of looked confused as what it wanted to be. I was seriously tempted to go the gold and black but since was ordering it was not sold on it, but seems someone ordered one around same time as me and when I got my bike his gold/black was in there and omg it made me wish I had went gold/black. /shrug
That green is SWEET. I really liked it after I saw it in person. You're right, the green goes better with at least some chrome and probably all chrome.
I saw a gold and black SB at the big Daytona shop on I 95. The gold has to go with black in my opinion.
FWIW, I don't think you have to regret anything. I love that green SB. Hopefully it is a one-year color and you will have one of very few bikes in that color. (hopefully, my Candy orange will also be unique.)
BTW, just a touch of black would look great. If you stay with stock pipes, the SE black header shields would look great with chrome mufflers.
oh that was the day i brought it home, its already different lol.
relocated turn signals, de-reflectored, danny gray weekday 2 up seat, fuelpak, v&h striaght shot slip ons, rsd taller ape hangers w/cables(waiting until after my 1k service to install the hangers)
Have a 2012 switchback rear fender and bags from a 2010 street glide in the shop. Going to section out the bags to fit over the rear shocks and reglass that area and fab up some bars/brackets to mount the bags to a switchback rear.
That should give me something to do this winter once I finish the interior/wiring on my 68 camaro. Gotta keep my project list full or the wife will find something for me to do!
Thanks, but i am so **** about stuff liek that we just do everthing ourself. That way if its not right i can only blame myself and do it until i am happy with it.
I was lucky as a kid my dad taught me well. Here is a shot of the camaro we (my Father & me) are wrapping up now.

Nice car!! I love muscle cars as much as I do motorcycles; a bit more expensive though!!
HD initially claims 12/10. Savannah HD needs a couple days to add the dealer installed options. The manager told me that the HD date will most likely change once they get a "birth certificate". I could lose or gain as much as a week.
