New Street Bob - 35 day countdown
I spent the afternoon ordering my new Street Bob. Down payment made, the rest at delivery.
I really appreciate the ideas provided in my previous post in the general forum.
Here is how she will roll when I pick her up.
- From the factory
-- 2013 FXDB Street Bob
-- Candy Orange Paint
-- Black laced wheels
-- Forward controls (after extensive research and some help here)
-- Black 103 upgrade
- Dealer Installed
-- V&H Pro-Pipe (black)
-- HD SE Tuner
-- S&S Stealth Air Cleaner
-- S&S "Muscle" Air Cleaner Cover
-- HD SE 255 cams (with adjustable push-rods.)
-- HD 16" black Apehangers with risers
-- HD Black Diamond cables
-- Black mirrors and levers.
-- HD Daymaker LED headlight (black)
-- HD security system with keyless FOB.
- Immediate or almost immediate upgrades after delivery.
-- A two up seat for to 1% of the time my wife rides along (still weighing options, leaning toward Mustang Vintage.)
-- Flush mount fuel cap and LED gauge in black.
-- Axle covers in black
-- Black horn cover (any ideas??)
- Longer Term Upgrade ideas
-- Black Progressive shocks
-- fork springs and some black treatment
-- Removable backrest

$19.5k plus they threw in $500 in accessories (after i got quotes from HD orlando and HD Daytona.)
The Rider Points add up to $400 buck too, so I have $900 in shopping.
Passenger seat, foot pegs, fuel cap and fuel gauge will eat that up quickly.
