I can offer a unbiased review. Everyone interested chip in, buy a set of bags from each Mfg. Have them drop shipped to me, and I'll share my findings. A bagless fellow forum member.

haha everyone throws in 10$ and we can get a 3 bag review!
fightthedude once my order comes in I will have the LeatherPro Saddlebags on mine as well! Nothing against the Conelys bags, but for the cost, I like the work done by LeatherPro and the details put into making them tight fitting. Plus his mounting system is top notch!
We will continue to hold the price at $569 for forum members until 12-01-12. At that time we have to take a price increase of $26 due to the cost of the aluminum heat shield and the credit card and paypal fees. I hate to do that, but the bookkeeper says we need to. Thanks again guys for all the great reviews.
I am reserving judgement until my bike is back up and rolling which will hopefully today or tomorrow. I am thinking these bags are two different animals. They look similar but definitely have differences. As stated above my boss does not want me spend countless hours on the clock working on saddlebags as my job is to sell wheels. This is a disappointment to me as comparing products is my favorite thing to do so I will find a way to get the info to the masses but it might have to be through alternate channels.
Regardless, we will eventually see the differences and such but certain restrictions are really cramping my style right now. Either way they are both way better than stock.
Has anyone seen Coneley's bags with the support system yet?
The ones I saw at his shop were allegedly pre-production sample supports with some funky bubble gum welds. The support system was similar to that of the Touring line.
Has anyone contemplated that Conely's bags are not being made in the USA?
Isn't it true that your conelys bags are using.the OEM 3-pt mounting system? I think what el Rey is referring to is conelys new 2-pt mounting system. There's no doubt that conely's bags fit great on your bike hogpro, but for us non-fxdxt riders there is a lot of mystery of how they are going to mount on our bike. John told me he was using two 9/16" heavy duty studs. But I can't imagine how that will keep it completely ridgid. Garry's patented docking system uses that vise-grip like action to firm things up. But all of us who have Garry's bags know that without making adjustments and tighting that mechanism our bags lose much of the ridigity.
For myself, being made here in America but a respected, honest, customer minded individual was important. It was cool to be "included" in the process of creating the bags as Garry posted every step of the way. He took into account our opinions. And for that he received my business.
