It is impossible to compare without having both current products in hand. I have the first gen Conely's which are not the same as they new ones they are waiting on. I have the LP here too waiting on my bike to be back together to do some testing.
hogpro you're just teasing us if you aren't going to do a review :P
yup. thats when the new batch will be coming. they will be here in january. some advances were made to better the bags, so the product line has to be changed before completion.
I have a set of prototypes and they are the business. great bags. I have no report on leatherpros bags. I have only seen and used conelys in person
Conelys are quick disconnect. Framed atay on bike. However, its only 2 bolts yo get the frames off. Only takes a monute to undo the frame from ghe strut. 2 bolts
I've been debating between the LP and Conely's bags, and was leaning more towards the LP's because they're made in the USA, fit super close to the bike with a cleaner mounting system, and Garry seems like a great guy. When I saw these pictures, though, I got concerned. Has anyone else had their LP bags fade, like american19? Can they be treated with something to bring back the black?

I apologize for this guys. We were told by the manufacturer that the fabric we were using had excellent colorfastness. When we informed the company that it was fading, they told us we needed a fabric that had UV protection, so we switched manufacturers and the new fabric has UV protection, and we are including a bottle of 303 Aeropsace UV protection spray on all new bags just for good measure.
The good news is there is an easy fix for the faded bags. Rustoleum makes a product called "Fabric and Vinyl" spray (gloss black) that brings these back to like new color. Below is a pic of a bag that I just sprayed the back half of with 2 light coats.
` It is available at most large hardware chains or online. I have done a few pair (including mine) and all it takes is 2-3 light coats. We are in the process of sending all people who bought these bags a bottle of the 303 stuff and offering them to send the bags back to us to have us bring the color back if they have already faded and don't want to spray them with the Rustoleum spray themselves. I know this is going to cost us a lot of money, but you guys paid good money for black bags, not purple.
