Pin stripes are perfect for the finishing touches on a 'throw-back' scoot, but they need to have the character of a human hand IMO. A slight imperfection is ok, shows that a real artist had his hands on your tins and not a computer, isn't that part of the reason we all love Harley's and not metrics?...Now I just need to find a good artist in south Florida to finish my matte orange and black bob!
a good place to find a quality striper is at your local car show. goodguys, world of wheels, etc. they usually will have a booth or be walking around striping cars at the shows. that and it's a good reason to get out and enjoy some classic tin!
Daaamn Leftylue! What did you end up selling the fridge for? Ever just pin one up? That would be Killer in the Garage!
i actually still own it. i wont let it go cheep but you are buying artwork not the fridge really.
yea i have striped a few but i always want to base coat them and it always got carried away and then i would have 100 hours into it haha. that flamed fridge has a lot of time in it too. stripes are fun, i pretty much stripe everything and anything that isn't moving too fast to stripe. like this porcelin duck hahaha
